Responsibilities
- Lead Workday HCM and Compensation workstreams across client engagements.
- Facilitate client discovery, design, configuration, prototype, testing, and deployment activities.
- Advise clients on Workday best practices, configuration options, business process design, security considerations, and downstream impacts.
- Partner with cross-functional teams including integrations, reporting, data conversion, change management, and project leadership.
- Support testing activities, issue resolution, client readiness, and go-live preparation.
- Identify risks, dependencies, and design considerations that may impact project success.
Requirements
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills along with the ability to communicate effectively.
- Must be able to perform work indoors and remain stationary at a computer.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
- Current permanent U.S. work authorization required.
- Active Workday Certification required.
- Workday HCM and Compensation Lead experience required.
- Government industry experience required.
Nice to have
- Translate client business requirements into scalable Workday HCM and Compensation solutions.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to client stakeholders, helping guide decision-making and solution adoption.
- Contribute to internal knowledge sharing, delivery quality, and continuous improvement across Avaap's Workday practice.
Compensation
- As required by law, Avaap provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired.
- Base Salary Range is $115,000 to $160,000 plus an additional 20% variable compensation is available for this specific role.
- At Avaap it is not typical to be hired at the top of the base salary range.
- During the interview process, alignment to level will be determined and should level differ from position applied for, a new compensation range will be provided for the appropriate role.
- Compensation for roles at Avaap varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific business unit, team, role, skillset, and level of experience.
