About the role

Responsibilities
- Develop estimates using labor productivity, equipment rates, material pricing, subcontractor inputs, and project conditions.
- Support forecasting, contingency evaluations, risk analysis, and estimate-at-completion reviews.
- Evaluate contractor change requests and validate scope, quantities, productivity assumptions, labor, equipment, and indirect costs.
- Develop independent estimates for changes, trends, claims, and commercial negotiations.
- Maintain clear estimate assumptions, exclusions, and supporting documentation.
- Support development of quantity tracking and progress measurement systems.
- Support cost forecasting, trend management, committed cost validation, and contingency monitoring.
- Review drawings, specifications, design changes, field instructions, and work packages to determine cost and quantity impacts.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Construction teams to validate scope, constructability, sequencing, and execution assumptions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or equivalent experience.
- Must be authorized to work in the country where the position is located.
Nice to have
- Prepare independent estimates for earthworks, structural concrete, underground utilities, drainage, roads, and infrastructure scopes.
- Benchmark contractor proposals against project estimates, historical data, and market information.
- Quantify impacts from engineering revisions, field changes, and evolving project requirements.
- Verify installed quantities and earned progress against contractor reports, payment applications, and field records.
- Participate in quantity verification, joint measurements, and progress assessments.
- Reconcile reported progress with actual installed work and identify variances.
- Provide estimating input to project stabilization, execution improvement, risk mitigation, and recovery planning initiatives.
- Prepare concise analyses highlighting cost impacts, risks, assumptions, and recommended actions.
Compensation
- $103,500.00 - $191,500.00
