About the role
- As a leader at Nasdaq, you will be accountable for shaping and executing the UI development strategy that powers our Generative AI product portfolio.
- This position can be located in Atlanta or Denver, and offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment (at least 3 days a week in office, subject to change), providing flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates.
Responsibilities
- Define and lead the UI development strategy for Nasdaq's Generative AI products, ensuring alignment with broader engineering and business objectives.
- Inspire, develop, and empower a team of UI engineers to deliver responsive, accessible, and high-performance web and mobile experiences.
- Partner with engineering, product, and design leadership to align on architecture, API integration strategy, and delivery roadmaps.
- Drive application performance, reliability, and scalability across web and mobile platforms.
- Extensive leadership experience in UI or front-end engineering, with a track record of building and scaling high-performing development teams.
- Strong executive presence with the ability to influence across engineering, product, and design functions at a senior level.
- Proven ability to manage delivery timelines, balance competing priorities, and drive outcomes in complex, matrixed environments.
Requirements
- Deep expertise in modern front-end development, including component-based frameworks and TypeScript-based ecosystems.
Nice to have
- Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, MS in Computer Science) or equivalent senior leadership training.
- Experience in financial technology, capital markets, or other regulated, high-availability environments.
- Familiarity with emerging AI/ML technologies and their application in consumer-facing digital products.

Compensation
- The base pay range for this role is $124,000 - $229,000.
