Requirements
- Years of Experience
- Required Certification/Licensure
- Must have a valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
- Peer Support Professional Certification is required.
- Lived experience with mental illness/substance use or gambling disorder or lived experience with a family member in one or more of the above indicated areas
- Education Level
- Must be 18 years of age or older, have lived experience receiving mental health, substance use or gambling treatment. High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to verify completion of state-approved training program and passing score on certification exam, if not currently certified, must become certified within 90 days unless otherwise approved by the hiring manager.
- Requirements of the certification which include:
- Willing to share personal recovery story to assist others.
