About the role

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Construction Pile Driving and Carpenter Foreman to oversee daily operations on construction sites.
Specifically, this position will require previous knowledge working on phased bridge construction.
This should include working with EFCO and standard formwork, critical lifting with complex rigging, working at heights on tall bridge structures, etc.

Working with the Superintendent to schedule work assignments and manage workflow to optimize productivity.
Enforce safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and labor hours.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to facilitate project goals.

Ability to wear and work in personnel protective equipment including but not limited to hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, ankle-supporting safety-toed work boots and a safety vest.
Must be able to traverse irregular and steep terrain.
Must be able to bend, stoop, and ascend/descend to reach materials or enter heavy equipment.
Individuals must have knowledge and experience working with pile driving.
Individuals must have knowledge and experience in carpentry work building bridge formwork.

Up to date welding certification is a plus.
High school diploma or equivalent
additional certifications in construction management or related fields preferred.
Minimum 5 years of experience in the construction industry
experience in a supervisory role preferred.

Member in good standing of the local union.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in construction management or related fields preferred.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations.
Must be well versed in the use of the EFCO forming system.
Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent.
The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand.
