Will assist in creating and maintaining programs to meet federal, state, local and corporate environmental safety and health regulations while maintaining the applicable records and documentations demonstrable during an inspection or audit.

Ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees and management
Ability to use Mathematics, Logic, and Reasoning
Ability to wear a full-face respirator on the job (as needed)
Possess a professional safety certification or ability to obtain one within the first six (6) months of employment
At least five (5) years of EHS experience without a degree in related field
Must be able to function well under peak activity periods.
Knowledge of hazardous waste (RCRA) generator requirements and ability to help with chemical waste management at the facility.
Performs Gemba walks, inspections, and audits as required.
Ability to work independently with some oversight as needed.

Bachelor's degree in safety, engineering, industrial technology, or related field preferred
Certified Safety Professionals (CSP) credential is preferred

Preferred Experience: Certified Safety Professionals (CSP) credential is preferred
