About the role
- This position is responsible for delivering accurate and compliant payroll services for assigned clients, while taking ownership of day-to-day payroll operations and supporting payroll projects.
- A successful candidate demonstrates strong payroll operational skills (speed and accuracy), a solid understanding of multi-state payroll regulations, and a proactive mindset toward continuous improvement.

- Support payroll-related projects, including payroll system implementations and conversions, under the guidance of a Project Leader or Manager
- Collaborate with internal teams (sales, project members, and IT) to meet client expectations
- Maintain high standards of customer service and data confidentiality
Nice to have
- Experience supporting payroll projects or system implementations is a plus *Fundamental
Skills
- Excellent and professional verbal and written communication skills in English and Japanese (working proficiency required)
- Reliable self-starter who takes ownership of assigned responsibilities
- Strong prioritization, multitasking, time management, and customer service mind to meet stakeholder expectations and deadlines
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment
- Comfortable learning new systems and adaptable to IT-related changes; not afraid of challenge

- Ability to achieve results aligned with PASONA's and the department's business objectives *
Compensation
- $55,000-73,000 (Base Salary) + Profit sharing *
