Responsibilities

  • Maintain clean HR documentation and stay ahead of labor law updates
  • Support immigration, background checks, and other compliance workflows
  • Partner with managers to create structured onboarding plans that set people up for success
  • Own and run payroll end-to-end, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance across all employee types
  • Manage HR tools and keep data accurate
  • Support reporting and other core People Ops tasks
  • Update and maintain job boards, ensuring postings are current, compliant, and reflective of our brand
  • In this role, you'll be streamlining and improving HR processes to build the backbone of People Ops at one of the fastest growing financial startups in the country.

Requirements

  • 2-4+ years in HR, People Ops, or a related field
  • Familiarity with employment laws, compliance, and HR best practices

Compensation

  • $100,000 to $130,000 annually plus equity and benefits.
  • This salary range is based on the current available market data, and represents the expected salary range for this role.
  • Kalshi has minimal hierarchy and few titles, but has broad ranges of experience represented within roles.
