About the role
- Vancouver Clinic is hiring an on-call Histotechnician to join our pathology team.
- Hiring range generally between $33.88/hour to $42.48/hour, and placement in the range depends on an evaluation of experience.
Requirements
- Certification as a Histotechnician (HT (ASCP)) or Histotechnologist (HTL (ASCP)) by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) required
- Minimum of one-year experience as a Histology Technician required
- Previous experience with Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) helpful
- Familiarity with lab safety, infection control, and biohazard disposal
- The ability to work, with or without reasonable accommodation, with a diverse population of patients and colleagues seeking or considering care in all areas is an essential function of all positions at the Clinic.

Compensation
- Compensation packages and time off programs vary and are dependent on factors such as department, position type, primary work state and FTE.
