  • PHYSICAL DEMANDS OF JOB In accordance with OSHA and other federal workplace regulations, an Environmental Specialist is expected to complete the following duties: I.

Responsibilities

  • Manage environmental projects, including wetland delineations, permitting, Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA), Phase I & II ESAs, site remediation, and sustainability initiatives.
  • Perform environmental fieldwork including oversight of subcontractor.
  • Support business development by identifying opportunities, writing proposals, and contributing to project bids.
  • Perform mathematics such as algebra, geometry, and trigonometry used in field survey analysis.
  • Ability to explain, interpret, and teach policies, technical concepts, and designs.
  • Manage projects and work with marketing to write proposals as needed
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by your manager.

  • Bachelor's Degree - Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Geology, or a related field.
  • Master's Degree is preferred.
  • 7+ years of relevant environmental experience, preferably in consulting, energy, or industrial sectors is preferred.
  • Valid Pennsylvania Driver's License.
  • OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER Certification preferred.
  • Professional certification (e.g., PE, PG, CHMM, QEP) is preferred.
