About the role

Flow Traders is looking for entrepreneurial, competitive, and analytical students to join our New York Trading team as a Trading Intern for Summer 2027.
Spend your summer experiencing what it's like to be a Trader in the financial capital of the world!
The trading internship will take place over nine weeks in our New York office, beginning in early June through early August.

Develop and test trading strategies through project-based work using quantitative models and trading tools
Collaborate with Traders and Quantitative Researchers to solve real-world trading challenges
Ability to think on your feet, reason logically and deliver under pressure

As an intern, you will get a 360-degree view of Flow Traders' role in the financial markets, how our Traders seize arbitrage opportunities, and how they work together as a team to optimize and improve their desk.
No prior experience is required.
Candidate for a Bachelor's degree studying in the United States with a major in Finance, Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics or related
Proficiency in Excel and an affinity for scientific programming or development languages
You will also be required to report in-person for this position at our New York office.

When it comes to salary, Flow Traders uses reliable market research to create base ranges.
We also consider ourselves one global team, and to demonstrate that, all employees are eligible to share in the company's success through an annual discretionary variable remuneration allocated based on company, group and individual performance and contribution.
Per the NYC Salary Transparency Law, the total compensation for this role includes a prorated base salary of $150,000.
