About the role
- We are seeking patient-oriented and dedicated medical assistant to assist our providers.
- The qualified candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, enjoy working with people, and be able to multi-task and work independently.
Responsibilities
- Under the direction of the provider, perform and report point of care testing, administering vaccines and other injections, obtaining ECG/EKG and performing phlebotomy to obtain lab samples
Requirements
- 1 to 2 years experience working in an outpatient setting
Nice to have
- Experience working with EMR preferred but not required
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred but not required
- Experience working in Family Practice and/or Pediatrics preferred but not required
Skills
- This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced medical assistant looking to gain office management skills.
