About the role

This is a part-time faculty position to teach throughout the academic year with a renewable contract, initial appointment to begin September 2026.
Salaries for faculty positions vary by academic rank; Instructor, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Professor.
Candidates are placed into a rank following the final completion of the interview process, based on qualifications, experience, and alignment with institutional needs.

Expertise in music direction and conducting, with a strong ability to lead ensembles
Expertise in developing electronic music performance setups and designing both hardware and software electronic music performance systems
Experience working with manufacturers to develop new and innovative performance tools
Very strong interpersonal and collaborative skills, with the ability to build consensus and contribute positively to a team-oriented and diverse academic community.

Have a vision for establishing a forward thinking pedagogy and practice techniques for an electronic performer
Experience developing educational materials such as instructional videos and practice materials and developing new curriculum for the modern electronic performer
