  • This is a part-time faculty position to teach throughout the academic year with a renewable contract, initial appointment to begin September 2026.
  • Salaries for faculty positions vary by academic rank; Instructor, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Professor.
  • Candidates are placed into a rank following the final completion of the interview process, based on qualifications, experience, and alignment with institutional needs.

Responsibilities

  • Expertise in music direction and conducting, with a strong ability to lead ensembles
  • Expertise in developing electronic music performance setups and designing both hardware and software electronic music performance systems
  • Experience working with manufacturers to develop new and innovative performance tools
  • Very strong interpersonal and collaborative skills, with the ability to build consensus and contribute positively to a team-oriented and diverse academic community.
