Responsibilities

  • Manages junior attorneys to create an inclusive team where feedback is freely shared, goals and expectations are co-created, team members are actively coached, and transparency is the norm

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree required
  • At least 15 years of professional experience as an Attorney in positions of increasing responsibility required
  • At least 3-5 of those years in strategic oversight of a Legal team required

Nice to have

  • Experience in both leadership of the Legal department for at least 3-5 years preferred

  • Must be admitted to practice law in New York

Compensation

  • Our best estimate of the compensation range for this opportunity is $250K - 275 K annually, depending on the experience you bring.
  • This role is not eligible for overtim e pay.
  • This range is based on NYC market rates and may be adjusted if you will be working remotely.
