About the role
- As part of the talented Marketing team, you will play a key role in supporting one of Mercury's most visible marketing channels.
- This role is ideal for an organized, self-motivated individual.
Responsibilities
- include assisting with angler and event applications, maintaining program data and accountability, supporting communication with anglers and partners, and assisting with key events and sponsorship initiatives including traveling to events as needed.
- The role also collaborates with internal teams across marketing, sales, and warranty to ensure alignment and program success.
- This is a hands-on opportunity to support Mercury's competitive angling presence while gaining exposure to sponsorship strategy and event execution.
- Provide daily support to the Sr. Manager, Competitive Angling, including high-volume email communication across anglers, tournaments, sales teams, dealers, internal and external stakeholders.
- Support communication updates to anglers, including product launches, program updates, and key initiatives.
- Assist in coordinating dealer and event support activities, including tournament logistics, angler appearances, and branding requirements.
- Provide daily support to the Sr.
- Collaborate with marketing and other internal teams to align the program with company standards, processes, and ISO compliance.
- Support development of PowerPoint presentations and contribute to strategic planning efforts
Requirements
- Effective interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse stakeholders
- Ability to travel for tournaments and events as needed working and traveling independently
- Working knowledge of social media platforms and the impact of influencers and sponsorship partnerships on brand visibility
- Monitor participant accounts to ensure required activity reports and documentation are completed in accordance with program expectations.

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field preferred

Compensation
- 62,800 - 90,500
- Participate in the annual launch of the Competitive Angling program, coordinating with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales, Credit, Warranty, etc.) to ensure readiness and compliance.
