About the role
- This position is responsible for the operation, monitoring, inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of diesel generators, electrical switchgear, compressed air systems, fuel systems, and associated control equipment.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance tasks, operational checks, and corrective maintenances activities
- Support troubleshooting, testing, repair, and maintenance of diesel generators, fuel systems, compressed air systems, and related equipment
Requirements
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, procedures, and equipment documentation
- Restore emergency power within required response timelines
- Document operational data, inspections, deficiencies, maintenance actions, and required logs and reports
Nice to have
- Experience with diesel generators, electrical switchgear, power distribution systems, or industrial plant operations
- OSHA 10 certification or equivalent safety training
- Military, technical school, apprenticeship, or related industry experience
