- As a Software Engineer on our PNT (position, navigation, timing) team, you'll be responsible for designing and maintaining state-of-the-art software and firmware for our alternative navigation solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain core libraries and frameworks used across all APNT platforms
- Lead the development and implementation of new features for our products
- Collaborate closely with the hardware, systems, and manufacturing teams, providing feedback to perfect the final designs and processes
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other related field
- Strong proficiency in C++ or Rust, with experience in Linux development environments
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and PCB layouts
- Demonstrated expertise with software version control (GIT)
- Experience with CMake and Makefile build systems
- Proficiency in debugging systems with GDB, including remotely deployed software systems
Nice to have
- Strong proficiency in Python and MATLAB
- Prior experience with build systems like Yocto or Buildroot
- Experience designing software and libraries for bare-metal embedded systems
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex frame transformation problems (ex. image projections, sensor alignment)
- Knowledge of sensor fusion and extended Kalman filter techniques and implementation
- Contributions to open-source projects or publications
