About the role

  • insightsoftware is seeking a Senior Product Owner to joi n the Financial Reporting domain within the Equity product organization.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Sales, Customer Success, and key customer stakeholders to identify r eporting gaps and deliver best-in-class financial reporting solutions
  • Conduct technical review sess ions with engineering teams to validate requirements and ide ntify im plementation risks before development begins
  • Partner with Compliance and Legal teams to ensure reporting capabilities meet applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with Professional Services on customer implemen tations and reporting configurations, identifying best practices
  • Support Sales in competitive evaluations, RFP responses, and customer advisory engagements
  • Conduct demos and training for customers, partners, and internal teams on financial reporting capabilities

Requirements

  • 2+ years in product management or product owner roles, preferably in B2B SaaS environments
  • Proven track record of delivering complex SaaS reporting features or financial modules from concept to launch
  • Bachelor's degre e in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field required
  • Background checks are required for employment with insightsoftware, where permitted by country, state/province.

Nice to have

  • CPA or accounting credential is a strong plus
  • MBA or similar advanced degree preferred
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and product management frameworks
  • Experience with financial reporting platforms, ERP integrations, or general ledger connectivity
  • Your specific offer within this range will be determined by your skills, experience, and qualifications.
  • For sales roles, this range includes a commission target.
