- Job Details Location Onsite - South Salt Lake, Utah (84119) or Salt Lake City (84104) Schedule & FLSA Full Time, Hourly Shift Mon-Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm About the Role Torus is hiring Manufacturing Technicians to join our Production Team.
- Opportunities available for both entry-level and experienced operators.
- As a Manufacturing Technician, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to high-voltage and low-voltage electrical assemblies, wiring, manufacturing and mechanical assemblies.
Responsibilities
- Perform assembly and wiring of electrical components, including high-voltage and low-voltage systems, following engineering diagrams and specifications.
- Maintain high standards of quality control throughout the manufacturing process.
Requirements
- Knowledge and experience in high-voltage and low-voltage electrical assemblies and wiring, as well as mechanical assemblies.
- Familiarity with electrical and mechanical components, tools, and equipment commonly used in manufacturing.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently under minimal supervision.
- Must be capable of standing, bending, and executing repetitive tasks for prolonged periods of time.
- Ability to read, identify, observe and recognize details, color-coding and fine print at close range on associated engineering drawings.
- Ability to don personal protective equipment to include, but not limited to, respiratory protective equipment with proper seal, coveralls, ear protection, gloves, eye protection & safety helmet.
- Ability to observe, detect and respond to audible and visual machine malfunction warnings.
- Ability to communicate information so others can understand.
- Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
Nice to have
- Preferred Experience High School Diploma/Equivalent.
- Active OSHA compliant Forklift Certification is a plus.
- Technical certifications or vocational training in electrical or mechanical disciplines is preferred.
- Experience working in a manufacturing, machine shop or assembly work is a plus.
Skills
- Use hand and power tools to assemble, adjust, and align components according to engineering specifications.
- Assist in the maintenance and calibration of manufacturing equipment and tools.
- Notify appropriate personnel of any equipment malfunctions or issues that may impact production.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, supervisors, and other technicians, to optimize manufacturing processes and address any technical challenges or issues that arise.
- Communicate effectively and proactively to ensure smooth workflow and efficient problem-solving.
