About the role
- Citizens Health is recruiting a pharmacy technician to work full-time in our outpatient pharmacy at Palace Drug Store.
Requirements
- (Minimum Requirements)
- Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
- Ability to interpret, adapt and apply guidelines and procedures.
- Ability to communicate clearly.
- Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe work environment.
- Must be able to respond quickly and appropriately in high pressure situations.
- Eye/hand coordination required for the use of admixtures in a laminar flow hood.
- Current State of Kansas Pharmacy Technician license.
- This can be attained within six months of hire, if not currently applicable.
- Skill in preparing and maintaining records, writing reports and responding correspondence.
- Skill in developing and maintaining department quality assurance.
- Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, medical staff and the public.
- Ability to maintain quality control standards.
