About the role

Salary: $20-$27 per hour, based on the candidate's skills, experience, and qualifications.
Schedule: This is a full-time position with the following typical hours.
The schedule includes four weekday shifts from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Saturday shifts from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

Responsibilities

Perform basic laboratory tests, such as collecting blood, urine, and stool samples
Clean and maintain the clinic, including stocking supplies and ensuring a safe and sanitary environment
Tenafly Veterinary Center is hiring a full-time Veterinary Assistant to work alongside our team of experienced veterinarians, skilled technicians, and devoted support staff to ensure each animal receives the best possible care during their stay with us.

Requirements

Physical ability to handle animals safely and compassionately.
Availability every Saturday is required.
Previous experience working with animals in a veterinary setting.
Technical know-how in areas such as disinfection, administering medication, and using diagnostic equipment.

Compensation

$20-$27 per hour, based on the candidate's skills, experience, and qualifications.
