About the role
- Brick is looking for a Product Designer to join our growing technology team.
- This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-moving startup, is comfortable with ambiguity, and loves crafting elegant solutions to complex problems.
- This role is based in our Chicago office, with an expectation of 3 days per week in person.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end design for key product features (research, flows, wireframes, visual polish).
- Partner with product managers and engineers to define problems and explore solutions.
- Evolve Brick's design system for consistency, speed, and scalability.
- Advocate for design quality while balancing speed and pragmatism in a startup environment.
- Collaborate across teams (marketing, ops, retail) to bring a unified Brick experience to life.
- Portfolio that shows strong product thinking, visual design, and interaction craft.
- Ability to move fluidly between wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
Requirements
- Comfort with ambiguity and eagerness to iterate quickly.
Nice to have
- Strong tenure / experience designing digital products (startup or consumer app experience a plus).
- Experience with Figma.
- Motion/animation/illustration skills are a plus.
