About the role

As an early marketing hire, you'll have an immediate, highly visible impact.
You'll be a creator-operator who can take internal work (product insights, research, customer wins, point of view) and turn it into content that travels.

Organic Social That Drives Real Attention
Own Cogent's organic social strategy and execution (primary: LinkedIn
Create a weekly content cadence across POV, product value, customer proof, research packaging, and culture/talent content.
Build "content series" that compound over time (e.g., weekly VM insights, AI security myths, remediation playbooks).
Build repeatable systems for capturing raw material: interviews, Slack mining, call notes, research briefs.
Manage paid influencer/creator relationships (selectively and tastefully) aligned to enterprise security audiences.
Build partnerships with practitioners and communities for content collaborations: podcasts, AMAs, guest posts.

Proven track record of growing organic presence and engagement with an enterprise audience.

Experience running influencer programs in B2B (not just B2C).
Experience packaging research: threat reports, benchmarks, original analysis.
Familiarity with brand safety and compliance concerns in cybersecurity marketing.

2-5+ years in social/content roles for B2B tech (cybersecurity preferred).
