- The Technician III is responsible for claim evaluations and conducts various testing activities and analysis on sample material.
Responsibilities

- Leads and contributes improvements to the lab evaluation processes, Job Safety Analysis, and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Leads laboratory maintenance and calibration of equipment.
- Leads and supports training for new hires.
- Lead lab maintenance and equipment calibration program.
- Perform preventive maintenance and calibration of equipment on a predetermined frequency.
- Learn and develop new test methods, SOPs and JSAs.
- Train new hires, develop, mentor, and provide guidance to junior technicians.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree in relevant technical field paired with 2+ years of practical, industry-related experience OR
- Proven track record (2-5 years) in a manufacturing or R&D lab setting.
- Experience navigating quality control, analytical testing, or product development within the roofing or construction materials sector is highly desirable.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to work as a team player
- Strong knowledge of roofing products and installation instructions
- Strong practical knowledge of key product lines, lab evaluation processes, products specifications and application instructions.

Nice to have
- Bachelor's Degree in relevant technical field paired with 2+ years of practical, industry-related experience is preferred
Compensation
- $64,014-$88,019
- We offer competitive salary, benefits, 401k, and vacation packages for all full time permanent positions.
- Base salary and/or rate of pay ranges listed are exclusive of fringe benefits and potential bonuses.
