Responsibilities

  • Our client is a multi-disciplinary engineering firm that partners with developers and landowners across Ontario to deliver turnkey residential and commercial projects.
  • With deep expertise in urban & rural planning, civil engineering, architectural design and environmental sciences, our client is known for its strong technical coordination and rigorous project governance.
  • This pivotal, client-facing role requires a leader who can masterfully manage detailed schedules and budgets, mentor a multidisciplinary engineering team, and, most importantly, actively drive new business development by cultivating strong client relationships and securing new streams of revenue.
  • Lead and manage all phases of land development projects, including planning, design, permitting, and construction.
  • Develop detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of engineers. designers, and technicians.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices
  • Prepare project cost estimates and manage budgets effectively.
  • Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize financial impacts. Assist in the preparation of proposals, bids, and contracts.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in a senior technical or project management role, mentoring junior staff and reviewing work for technical accuracy and compliance.

Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in civil engineering, with a significant focus on land development and municipal infrastructure projects.

  • Actual compensation within this range will be determined based on job-related skills, relevant experience, education, and training.
