About the role
- While hardware will be the primary focus of this role, this researcher will also bring experience in software and digital experiences - helping us understand how the physical and digital come together to shape the holistic Peloton Member journey.
- This Senior User Researcher will work directly with Product Managers, Industrial Designers, Mechanical Engineers, Field Testing Program Managers, Data Scientists, and Product Designers, and will report to the Director, User Research.
- Continually evolve our process for organizing user research and testing across multiple product teams, ensuring appropriate prioritization of projects, and crafting and managing short and long term research roadmaps and plans
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Product designers, Data Scientists, and Engineers to scope, plan, and execute software research, as needed
- Conduct user research on design mockups, prototypes, beta versions, and finished products and features supplied by the Product teams
- Compile and present findings to the relevant partners in a clear and concrete way, that enables stakeholders to make strategic product decisions and design product improvements
Requirements
- 5+ years of user research and testing experience, including experience working across both hardware and software product teams
- Experience conducting research across both physical product development and software/digital experiences - with a strong foundation in hardware, human factors, or physical product development
- Experience analyzing research findings and reporting concise and concrete insights and recommendations
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- ability to act autonomously
- Degree or equivalent experience in Human Factors, Ergonomics, Anthropometry, or a related physical/embodied discipline

Compensation
- $173,478 - $213,957 USD
