Requirements

  • At least 2 years as a Veterinary Technician with Anesthesia-specific experience in a specialty medicine setting
  • Our ideal candidates have a strong attention to detail and excellent interpersonal communication skills. We're also looking for those with an advanced technical skill set that includes familiarity with anesthetic protocols, pain management, surgical procedures, and it's a huge plus if the candidate has a preexisting skill set for placing triple lumens, arterial lines for IBP, and CVP's. You should be comfortable with the fluidity of supporting different departments, doctors and technicians, and someone who enjoys educating others (including our intern doctors) around anesthesia and its essential role in our daily operations.
  • Education and Experience:
  • Licensed or Credentialed Veterinary Technician

  • Veterinary Technician Specialist (VTS):
  • 40 hours of paid CE time and up to $2,500 stipend
  • Credentialed Technicians (CVT/LVT/RVT):
  • 32 hours of paid CE time and up to $1,600 stipend

  • In this dynamic role, you'll support cases in Critical Care, Emergency, Cardiology, Internal Medicine, Oncology, Surgery, Radiology, and Neurology.
  • You'll collaborate closely with our specialists and emergency clinicians to develop and implement tailored anesthetic plans that prioritize patient well-being and safety as they undergo medical and surgical procedures and diagnostic testing under sedation or general anesthesia.
