Responsibilities
- AOSP & Framework Development: Lead the design and implementation of system-level components and applications within the Android Open Source Project (AOSP).
- Architectural Leadership: Drive the adoption of Clean Architecture and modern design patterns to build scalable and robust software.
- Full-Stack Android Engineering: Develop high-performance features using Java and Kotlin, ensuring seamless integration between the application layer and Android middleware.
- Technical Ownership: Drive end-to-end technical solutions while collaborating across cross-functional teams.
- Quality Assurance: Establish and maintain rigorous testing standards, including unit, instrumentation, and integration testing.
- AI Innovation: Leverage AI tools within the development process to drive engineering efficiency and innovation.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, build systems (e.g., Bazel, Gradle), and release automation in large-scale environments.
- We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
- Experience in the automotive industry is mandatory
- 7+ years of professional software development experience, with a specific focus on application layers.
- Experience working within automotive environments, including infotainment systems or Android Automotive OS (AAOS).
- Familiarity with C/C++ for lower-level or performance-critical components within the Android stack.
- Experience with embedded Linux systems and hardware-software integration.
- Experience optimizing system performance, memory usage, and power efficiency in resource-constrained devices.
