About the role

Quartermaster AI is looking for a mission-driven General Counsel to serve as a key member of our executive leadership team.
You won't just be "the lawyer"; you will be a strategic architect of our growth.
As we scale our AI solutions within highly regulated environments, you will navigate the complex intersection of cutting-edge technology, national security, and global commerce.

Manage the company's corporate structure and international expansion strategy.
Partner with Business Development to accelerate deal cycles while protecting company interests.
Develop and implement internal policies and training to maintain a culture of compliance.
Lead legal due diligence and execution for venture financing rounds, debt financing, and potential M&A.
Manage and grow the company's Intellectual Property (IP) portfolio, ensuring our AI innovations are robustly protected through patents, trademarks, and trade secrets.
Autonomy: You will build the legal department from the ground up, selecting your own tools and external counsel.

A "business-first" mindset-the ability to find a path to "Yes" while maintaining a firm line on risk.
WHY QUARTERMASTER AI?

Lead corporate governance, including Board meeting preparation, minutes, and equity plan administration.
Education: J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership in good standing.

10+ years of practicing law, with a significant tenure in-house at a high-growth technology or defense company.

Act as the primary authority on Export Controls (ITAR/EAR) and ensure compliance with security clearance requirements
