About the role
- Position Purpose: Reports to the Food Service Supervisor or Manager with primary responsibility for the transport, delivery and retrieval of completed food trays to patients.
- Environmental and Working Conditions: Moderate amount of stooping, bending, pushing and pulling in the transport, delivery and retrieval of patient food trays to from patient floors.
- Must possess the ability to comply with Trinity Health policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Delivers meal trays to patient rooms and retrieves trays after meals.
Requirements
- Ability to read, write, and speak English and to understand written and oral instructions is required.
- Extended periods of standing or walking are required.
- Must be willing and able to wear Personal Protective Equipment such as gloves, hair nets/masks, slip resistant shoes, eye protection, etc.
Nice to have
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior food service industry experience preferred.
