About the role
- The Estimator Review Specialist is responsible for reviewing, validating, and optimizing collision repair estimates written by front-line estimators across multiple body shop locations within OC Automotive Resources.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with production, supplements, and management teams to reduce rework and delays
- Support audit processes, DRP compliance, and internal quality control initiatives
Requirements
- 5-10 years of hands-on collision repair estimating experience in a body shop environment
- Strong proficiency in CCC, Mitchell, and/or other popular estimating systems
- In-depth knowledge of OEM repair procedures and collision repair best practices
- Proven ability to identify missed damage and estimate inaccuracies
- Strong communication skills with the ability to coach and mentor estimators
Nice to have
- Experience working in a multi-shop organization (MSO) or with a major automotive insurance carrier
- I-CAR Platinum or equivalent industry certifications
- Previous quality control, audit, or estimating leadership experience
- Analytical and detail-oriented mindset
- Process-driven with a focus on continuous improvement
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Professional judgment and ethical decision-making
- Team-oriented with a customer-first focus
