About the role
- The Processing Operator is responsible for staging, weighing, batching, and processing raw materials according to approved formulations and production schedules.
- This is a hands-on role requiring attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work across multiple production areas in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities
- Support material movement and inventory accuracy throughout the production process
- Perform Clean-In-Place (CIP) operations and equipment sanitation activities in accordance with established sanitation procedures.
- Perform equipment startup, shutdown, operational checks, and changeovers as needed
- Perform first-level troubleshooting and corrective actions to minimize downtime
Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 57 pounds regularly
- Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, bend, stoop, kneel, and reach throughout the shift
- Must be clean shaven where the respirator seals to the face in accordance with safety requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to navigate manufacturing software and electronic documentation systems
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and basic math skills
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to utilize hand tools and perform basic equipment adjustments
- Experience with ERP systems, warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory systems, or scanning systems preferred
- Knowledge of cGMP, food safety, sanitation, and quality standards preferred
- Experience working in a LEAN manufacturing environment or participating in continuous improvement initiatives preferred
Nice to have
- Manufacturing, food production, chemical processing, or related experience preferred
- Forklift certification or experience operating forklifts preferred
- Experience performing CIP, sanitation, or chemical handling activities in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Experience working with HMI-controlled or automated processing equipment preferred
- Familiarity with PLC-controlled equipment and automated manufacturing systems preferred
