About the role
- GSO-Metals Mechanic Repair and fabricate piping.
- Understand differing metallurgy and the application of same in the refinery.
- Install and remove various types of blinds, orifice plates and ancillary systems.
Requirements
- Must be willing to perform/comply with the following:
- Ability to read and interpret pipe prints.
- Ability to take field measurements, operate a forklift, basic rigging knowledge, bolt tensioning equipment.
- and m ust work 12-16 hour shifts when required, which includes some weekends and holidays, working overtime.
Nice to have
- A minimum of five (5) years of refinery maintenance troubleshooting, installation and repair experience required, or petrochemical field experience preferred.
Skills
- knowledge and use of Microsoft office, Outlook and SAP.
- Must be eligible to qualify or hold a Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC card).
