About the role

  • The team is also tasked to grow Mastercard's market share in Corporate, Small Business, and Travel and Entertainment cards.

Responsibilities

  • Providing support to the Commercial and New Payment Flows business development teams to support product sales initiatives
  • Identifying process improvements and efficiencies; owning and executing solutions to support our transformation strategy and streamlining processes to increase ease of doing business.
  • A team player, willing to take on responsibilities and roles that support the team, department, region and the company.
  • Mastercard's Commercial and New Payment Flows is responsible for building and commercializing products and services to reduce complexity, cut costs and automate processes in the B2B and travel payments ecosystems.
  • Engaging on strategic relationships and partnership agreements with our digital partners.
  • Partnering with regional compliance leads to ensure products and services comply with corporate policies, such as gifts and hospitality, anti-bribery and anti-corruption and third party on-boarding.

Requirements

  • Qualified lawyer with a solid academic and training background, with at least 7 years of experience, licensed to practice in the relevant jurisdiction.
  • Strong drafting and negotiating skills with the ability to understand and simplify complex concepts, issues and deal structures.

Compensation

  • In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions dependi

  • 3+ years in the pharmaceutical, biotech or healthcare industry, or at a law firm supporting those industries, including experience in privacy law and commercial/medical-related matters.
  • Experience with health regulatory compliance strongly preferred.
