About the role
- The Pilates Reformer Instructor is responsible for leading dynamic, results-driven Reformer classes while providing expert coaching, individualized attention, and exceptional member service.
Responsibilities
- Lead safe, engaging, and effective Pilates Reformer classes for all experience levels.
- Create an energetic, supportive, and inclusive studio atmosphere.
- Monitor participant safety and maintain awareness throughout every class.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation of the Pilates studio and reformer equipment.
- Perform basic equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
Requirements
- Possesses strong knowledge of Pilates principles, anatomy, biomechanics, and movement quality.
- The ideal candidate is passionate about Pilates, knowledgeable in movement mechanics, and committed to delivering an outstanding member experience that keeps participants coming back.
Nice to have
- Pilates experience/background preferred.
- Experience teaching both group and private or semi-private sessions is a plus.
- Preferred Certifications
- Current CPR/AED Certification.
