About the role

  • This person will be presented with various projects in the commercial, industrial, government, healthcare, and education markets.
  • Assist in producing detailed schematics for HVAC systems based on instructions and pre-established guidelines.
  • Assist Mechanical Engineers by participating in job site surveys to gather as-built technical information.

Responsibilities

  • This position will provide drafting and engineering support to the Mesa Energy Systems Engineering Group.
  • The Mechanical Drafter I will apply their drafting experience to support the Engineers and Team Members.

Requirements

  • Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree or a 1-year certificate program from a community college or technical school, focusing on CAD software, design fundamentals, and blueprint reading
  • 2+ years of CAD Drafting experience with formal AutoCAD/REVIT Drafting training/certification enrollment or completion.
  • Developing proficiency of AutoCAD, MS Office Suite, and other related software applications.

Compensation

  • $29 - $34 per hour
