About the role
- This is a hands-on role for someone who is organized, mechanically literate, and thrives in a fast-paced logistics environment.
Responsibilities
- Triage and coordinate repairs with approved vendors; maintain backup vehicles to prevent route gaps
- Partner with field managers to deliver data-driven coaching to drivers
- Manage daily vehicle-to-driver assignments for standard and AMXL routes
- Manage vendor relationships, parts inventory, and roadside assistance contracts
- Own the fleet cost line: fuel, maintenance, insurance, registration, and lease payments
Requirements
- 2+ years of fleet management, transportation operations, or vehicle maintenance coordination
- Working knowledge of DOT/FMCSA vehicle compliance standards
- Familiarity with Mentor by eDriving or Netradyne telematics platforms
- Experience managing fleets of 30+ commercial vehicles
- Manage all incident/accident reporting through the Amazon DSP portal within required timeframes
