About the role
- The Diffusion Process Engineer opportunity is in a high-volume semiconductor wafer manufacturing environment.
- The position requires ownership and responsibility for control, development, and optimization of semiconductor processes and equipment.
- This role plays a critical part in ensuring high material quality, yield, and process stability for high-volume manufacturing.
Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize processes for silicon semiconductors
- Implement and maintain SPC (Statistical Process Control) and FDC (Fault Detection and Classification) systems.
- Analyze metrology data to monitor material quality and drive improvements.
- Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for process deviations and yield issues.
- Participate in and/or lead cross-functional and lean activity teams.
- Drive equipment performance to maximize capacity and yield performance.
Requirements
- Recent B.S. Degree in Engineering or Materials Science
- Up to 2 years work experience
- Positive interpersonal skills, highly energetic and self-motivated
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Quality first mindset
- Statistical analysis skills
- Project management skills
