About the role

  • The Diffusion Process Engineer opportunity is in a high-volume semiconductor wafer manufacturing environment.
  • The position requires ownership and responsibility for control, development, and optimization of semiconductor processes and equipment.
  • This role plays a critical part in ensuring high material quality, yield, and process stability for high-volume manufacturing.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimize processes for silicon semiconductors
  • Implement and maintain SPC (Statistical Process Control) and FDC (Fault Detection and Classification) systems.
  • Analyze metrology data to monitor material quality and drive improvements.
  • Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for process deviations and yield issues.
  • Participate in and/or lead cross-functional and lean activity teams.
  • Drive equipment performance to maximize capacity and yield performance.

Requirements

  • Recent B.S. Degree in Engineering or Materials Science
  • Up to 2 years work experience
  • Positive interpersonal skills, highly energetic and self-motivated
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
