About the role
- Local Media News Department at TelevisaUnivision San Antonio is looking for a Senior Photographer to join our team!
- You will work with assignment editors and newsroom managers to cover stories and monitor video content.
- ABOUT YOU: The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic self-starter who loves working with live U, is detail oriented, and enjoys working in a collaborative team environment.
Nice to have
- Responsible for shooting video and audio for all platforms, editing feeds and live shots.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all technical and equipment-related matters within the news department.
- Ensure all photographers follow newsroom standards for video quality, live shots, audio, lighting, and storytelling execution.
- Work closely with newsroom leadership to identify operational needs, technical improvements, and workflow efficiencies that enhance news gathering.
- A minimum of six years' experience as a Photojournalist in medium/major market television.
- BA/BS preferred in Journalism/Mass Communications or equivalent experience
- Flexibility and on-the-spot problems solving abilities are a must
- Must be highly proficient both in English and Spanish
