About the role
- The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for managing the overall delivery of an application development program supporting the operation, maintenance, and modification of the ARIMS family of applications.
- Act as the primary on-site interface with Government Site authorities and representatives on program/project and contract administration issues.
- Plan, direct, and monitor project execution, ensuring timely progress and adherence to set standards and specifications.

- SOSi is seeking a highly qualified Senior Project Manager to join our team on site in Fort Belvoir, VA to support our government customer.
- Develop and implement management procedures and controls to supervise program/project operations effectively.
- Monitor project status and schedule to proactively identify potential shortfalls and develop corrective action plans.
- Manage the acquisition and employment of program/project resources.
- Coordinate efforts of technical support staff in the execution of assigned projects, to include project tracking and analysis.
- Deliver progress report updates and ensure specific project deliverables and contractual commitments are met.
Requirements
- A bachelor's or postgraduate degree in engineering, scientific, technical, or business management disciplines from an accredited college or university
- A minimum of 15 years of management and supervisory experience in relevant fields, particularly in Army Records Management or similar government contracting programs/projects.
- Experience managing IT programs with employees working across multiple concurrent projects.
- Knowledge of the Army's software environment including Microsoft SQL and the.NET framework
- Ability to solve complex problems using advanced principles and theories.
Nice to have
- Advanced degree or certifications in project management, such as PMP (Project Management Professional).
- Extensive experience in managing IT projects within a government contracting environment.
- Experience with GOTS applications such as ARMIS, AAO, ACOTD, FACTS, MDR, or ADAMS.
- Strong leadership and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for effective liaison with government representatives.
Compensation
- Compensation: $160K - $180K yearly.
