Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience in bicycle mechanics
- After each fiscal year end, the application will expire and a new application must be completed to remain in the applicant pool.
Nice to have
- Industry certifications in bicycle mechanics or related technical areas
- Teaching experience at the college level or in a technical training setting
- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Familiarity with bicycle mechanics, repair, and maintenance, including braking systems, drivetrains, wheel assembly, suspension, electric bikes, retails, and service department operations
Skills
- Demonstrated teaching ability is the top priority
- Instructional experience and leadership experience at a community college is a plus.
- Ability to use an online platform
- Experience or interest in project-based, service learning, or inquiry-based learning will be given special consideration
- Manipulate items with fingers, including keyboarding
