Responsibilities
- The City and County of Denver's Office of Human Resources (OHR) is seeking a highly organized, polished, and proactive Executive Assistant to provide primary support to the Executive Director and occasional support to the OHR Senior Leadership Team.
- This position is ideal for an experienced EA who thrives in a dynamic, relationship‑driven environment and enjoys being a key partner to senior leadership.
- Executive Support
- Manage, update, and coordinate a high‑volume calendar with frequent changes, shifting priorities, and tight turnaround times.
- Prepare for meetings, manage agendas, gather discussion items, and ensure leadership teams have what they need.
- Provide occasional personal‑related logistical support (e.g., travel coordination).
- Serve as the primary administrative support for the Career Service Board, including agendas, meeting materials, minutes, and coordination with the legal agencies
- Serve as an extension of the Executive Director-representing OHR professionally with internal leaders, external partners, and the Mayor's Office.
- Manage vendors, purchasing, invoices, office operations, and other administrative functions that keep the Executive Director and the department running smoothly
- Manage the Anniversary Pin Program, including ordering, tracking, and distributing materials.
Requirements

Nice to have
- Prior experience as an Executive Assistant strongly preferred, ideally 5+ years.
