About the role
- Minneola Healthcare Long Term Care is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) / Certified Medication Aides (CMAs).
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any significant changes or concerns to the nursing staff.
Responsibilities
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients, promoting their well-being and comfort.
- Document medication administration accurately and promptly in patients' records, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines.
- In this dual role, you will provide essential care and support to our patients while also assisting with medication administration under the supervision of licensed nursing staff.
Requirements
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact compassionately with patients and their families.
- Valid certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) and Medication Aide (CMA) in accordance with state regulations.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and basic patient care practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
