About the role
- Sydnor Hydro, a UFT company is a construction and equipment supply company specializing in groundwater and wastewater systems and products.
- Sydnor Hydro is seeking a motivated Maintenance Warehouse Assistant to join our growing team!
- This position requires working on-site Monday- Friday from 7:30-4:30 and local travel to customer sites.
Responsibilities
- Support daily warehouse operations by accurately stocking, organizing, receiving, and pulling materials for customer orders, project needs, and inventory management activities
- Assist with facility maintenance and general upkeep to help maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment both inside the warehouse and throughout the property, including general lawn care.
- Learn and develop working knowledge of industrial products including pipe, valves, fittings, and related equipment to support counter sales, customer requests, and day-to-day warehouse operations
- Collaborate with warehouse, service, and sales teams to ensure materials are prepared, organized, and available to support ongoing projects and customer needs
- Follow company safety procedures, inventory processes, and operational standards to support efficient warehouse and delivery operations

- Ability to lift and move materials, work on your feet throughout the day, and perform general physical warehouse duties
Requirements
- This is an entry level position, no experience is required and training will be provided.
- A high school diploma or GED is required
- Ability to safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment
- Ability to lift between 40 - 50 pounds
- Valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and current auto insurance is required
Nice to have
- Experience in warehouse operations, or material handling, or delivery driving, or facility maintenance is a plus
- Experience stocking, organizing, pulling, and staging materials in a warehouse or industrial setting a plus
Compensation
- $40k-$50k
