About the role
- Register patients, verify insurance, and collect co-pays
- Schedule appointments and coordinate specialist referrals
- Respond to patient inquiries and provide care status updates
Responsibilities
- Answer phones and manage administrative tasks
- Conduct patient follow-up and maintain reception area
- This role delivers a high‑quality, customer‑focused experience in a fast‑paced care setting.
- Perform point-of-care testing (flu, strep, ECG)
- Perform phlebotomy and administer injections
- Update EMR and scan documents
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School Diploma required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at hire (AHA or ARC)
- Certification Requirements (for candidates with less than 3 years of MA experience)
- One of the following certifications is required:
- Experience-Based Pathway (no MA certification at hire)

Compensation
- $19.00 - $24.25 per hour

- CCMA - Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (NHA)
- CMA - Certified Medical Assistant (AAMA or CHP)
- RMA - Registered Medical Assistant (AMT, AAH, or ARMA)
- NCMA - National Certified Medical Assistant (NCCT)
- NRCMA - Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant (NAHP)
