About the role
- This role involves designing automation frameworks, integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines, troubleshooting complex issues, mentoring junior engineers, and driving quality across the SDLC.
- Integrate automated test suites into Jenkins or similar CI/CD pipelines.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and reusable components.
- Create and execute automated tests across UI, API, backend, and database layers.
- Develop automation using Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
- Perform REST API testing using Postman, REST Assured, SuperTest, or similar tools.
- Validate backend data using SQL queries.
- Perform basic security testing aligned with OWASP Top 10 principles.
- Collaborate with developers, Product Owners, and Business Analysts throughout Agile sprints.
Requirements
- The ideal candidate is a hands-on automation engineer with strong experience in UI, API, backend, and database testing.
- Required Skills & Qualifications 5+ years of Software Quality Engineering / SDET experience.
- Experience with WebdriverIO, Selenium, or Cypress.
