Responsibilities

- Design software tools, frameworks, and applications for Windows and cloud-based platforms that support data collection and test automation.
- Deliver software solutions across presentation, application, business logic, and data access layers.
- Build scalable and documented software utilizing CI/CD pipelines and agile development methodologies.
- Drive standardization of test software frameworks across production environments.
- Collaborate with electrical, optical, systems, and research and development teams to define software requirements and specifications.
- Application of TypeScript, Angular, SCSS, ASP.NET, and REST service design and implementation.
- Utilization of test-driven development methodologies, software design patterns, data structures, agile development tools, and Jira.
Compensation
- The salary range for this role in Ottawa is $76, 700 - $122, 500
- Pay ranges at Ciena are designed to accommodate variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions, and locations, reflecting our diverse products, industries, and lines of business.
