About the role
- The Amazon Air Process Engineering team will create the Earth's most customer-centric Air Logistics program using Industrial Engineering principles to create an Amazon-designed network built on disruptive solutions and relentless innovation.
Requirements
- 2+ years of directly managing and responsible for multiple large projects experience.
- 4+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, mechanical, operations, supply chain, business administration, or equivalent STEM field.
- Experience in Lean Management, Six Sigma and other operations engineer tools.
- Experience in Logistics, Distribution or Fulfillment processes.
- Experience working under pressure in a cross-functional organization.
- There is no limit to how high you can "soar" here at Amazon Air!
- For this reason, eligibility for this role will be limited to individuals who pass a security screening, as required by the FAA, DHS, and TSA (as applicable)..
- Must be able to secure appropriate airport authority and/or US Customs security badges, if applicable.
- Experience and strong technical background in relevant fields of automated or non-automated material handling equipment
Nice to have
- Master's degree in engineering, mechanical, operations, supply chain, business administration, or equivalent STEM field.
- Experience with complex automated material handling equipment, packaging technologies, and systems and high-speed manufacturing.
- Experience with financial and statistical modeling.
