About the role
- This role is ideal for someone who is self-motivated, comfortable working independently at night, and confident navigating city streets.
Responsibilities
- Perform basic diagnostics and flag damaged or malfunctioning vehicles
- Collaborate with team members via mobile apps and in-person communication
Requirements
- At least 2 years of driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 80-90 lbs
- Strong time management and ability to work independently
- Smartphone proficiency (app-based navigation and task management)
- Experience driving larger vehicles (cargo vans, box trucks, U-Hauls)
- Familiarity with NYC streets, boroughs, and traffic patterns
Compensation
- Bird offers competitive pay and benefits packages.

- However, actual compensation may vary upon a number of factors such as experience, knowledge, skill level, skill sets, or the city in which work is performed.
- Accordingly, under certain circumstances, it is possible that a candidate's actual compensation may be above or below this range.
- Some roles may also be entitled to receive other forms of compensation such as bonus, variable pay, and equity, and you will be eligible for paid time off, health and welfare benefits, and retirement benefits pursuant to the Company's policies.
- $18.00 - $22.00 per hour, depending on experience
