About the role
- The Carpenter will be responsible for constructing, installing, repairing, and maintaining structures and fixtures made of wood and other materials.
Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials according to specifications Construct and install building frameworks, including walls, floors, and doorframes Install fixtures such as windows, doors, cabinets, and molding Inspect and replace damaged framework or structures Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches Operate hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery safely Ensure all work complies with building codes and safety regulations Collaborate with other construction professionals on projects Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
